Labor Day Cookout

A few weeks before Logan was born, Bruce told me that our friend Chuck would be visiting from Atlanta Labor Day weekend and that he (Bruce) had offered our place as a location for a BBQ on Saturday for a bunch of our friends. Normally I would have said, “Sure, no problem, we love hosting BBQ’s,” but I knew we would have a 3ish week old baby and I had no idea how that would be so I couldn’t commit to anything. Well the time came to make a decision and I said “Sure, no problem, we love hosting BBQ’s,” It was a great opportunity to introduce some of our closest friends to Logan. Most people were very appreciative of us hosting but also thought we were crazy, especially the ladies. To some extent, it was crazy but it was also fun! And we don’t (or can’t) party like we used to…everyone was gone by 10 pm.
