Daddy Goes to Rome

Yesterday and today Bruce went to Rome…Rome, NY that is. This was his first business trip since Evan was born and my parents offered to help me with Evan while he was gone. So on Wednesday, Evan and I headed to Rhode Island once again. I would love to know how many times I have made the trip back and forth down 146…all those years at WPI and now living in Millbury. Our ~24 hour trip was filled with visitors. We stopped in to visit with Gigi on Wednesday afternoon. This was her second time seeing Evan and even though he slept the entire time we still had a nice visit. Gigi and I were able to chat and catch up while frequently stopping to admire Evan and comment on how sweet and cute he is. (I know we are pretty biased but still!)
We then went to Papa and Gramma’s house for the night. Our visit was pretty uneventful but we did get a surprise visit from Great Uncle Rick, Great Aunt Donna, Jackson and little Juliana. It was great to see them all and the kids are just too cute! Jackson was so excited to play with all of Danny’s toys and Juliana had some great smiles and stories to share with us all. It will be so wonderful to watch all the third cousins grow up together. If the Kavanagh family gatherings weren’t crazy enough before, give it a year or two and it will be total chaos! But super fun too!!
