Today was a day of firsts. Evan’s first picnic. Evan’s first hike. Evan’s first rice cereal. It was a beautiful day and we decided to go to Wallum Lake in Douglas for a picnic and a short hike. We had a nice picnic in the shade by the lake and then took Evan on his first hike through the Douglas State Forest. It was the first opportunity we’ve had to use the Sherpani that Aunt Kristina and Uncle Ty gave us. Evan seemed to really like it. When we came home, it was time for Evan to eat and we gave him his first rice cereal. He wasn’t too sure what to make of it but he did pretty well all things considered.
